Bernadette J Mays, Founder
Meet Bernadette, a lifelong animal enthusiast and the founder of Freedom Ranch Laredo. With a heart full of compassion, she opened up her sprawling 20 acres to provide a safe haven for stray animals. Bernadette is often found engaging directly with the animals, showering them with love and affection while ensuring that they are happy and healthy. Her dedication to their well-being is truly inspiring!

Introducing Ray, a devoted animal lover who has been a vital part of our team since the very start! His passion for animals and commitment to rescue work has greatly benefited FRL. Whether he's responding to emails, organizing events, or providing hands-on care for the animals—like feeding, bathing, and cleaning their living spaces—Ray truly does it all! We are incredibly grateful to him for helping keep FRL running smoothly.
